NORML Womens Alliance is in the process of recruiting dream teams of women around the country! Let us know how you would like to get involved with the Women's Alliance as we develop a strategic, nationwide approach to ending marijuana prohibition. The following women make up a core group of national spokeswomen ready to interact with the media on the important issue of marijuana legalization. They are available for interviews, commentary and speaking engagements.
Diane Fornbacher

Diane Fornbacher-Wall has been a cannabis law reform activist for 15 years. She has worked with some of the top reform organizations in the political arena. She is currently the Vice Chair of the NORML Women's Alliance. She has also worked in industrial film, voiceover, and modeling as well as at a casting agency in Philadelphia. She is a mother to two young boys and a member of the Parent/Teacher Association of America. When she isn't working to change the cannabis laws, she enjoys photography, writing/performing poetry, and writing semi-terse LTEs.

Cheryl Shuman was the founder of Beverly Hills NORML, charter member of the NORML Women's Alliance and serves on the steering committee for Public Relations and Marketing on an International platform. Shuman is the Director of Public Relations, Media and Marketing for the KUSH Brand, which includes KUSH Magazine, KUSH Conventions and DailyBuds.com. Cheryl Shuman has been interviewed for hundreds of television programs, newspapers and magazines, including but not limited to: Access Hollywood, Entertainment Tonight, Today Show NBC, HBO Entertainment News, Lifestyles of the Rich and Famous and more.
Greta Gaines

Greta Gaines is a newcomer to the movement of legalizing marijuana. Having spent the last 20 years immersed in the extreme sports and rock n roll world, however, she has been smoking and thinking about smoking pot for a very long time. As a musician, download favorites from iTunes such as the bong anthem "Wake Up Happy," "Cool Hand Luke" and "I'm High have all delved into Gaines's fascination with Cannabis. In fact she likes to think of herself as being one of those consistently putting the "Her" in "Herbal." Tonya Davis is a long time advocate for medical marijuana in Ohio. She is the NORML's 2009 recipientof the Pauline Sabin Award. She is a national speaker and has been featured in several documentaries. She is a Co Host on Public Television Access show: Medical Marijuana Common Sense and Vice President of Ohio Patient Network a 501(C)3. She is also the Medical Marijuana Director with Ohio NORML and Miami Valley NORML. She serves as the State Director in Ohio with AAMC and is one of the creators, and citizen sponsor of the Ohio medical Compassion Act.
Anna Diaz

Anna Diaz is the co-founder of Oregon NORML and is serving her third term on the board of directors. In 2009 she lead Oregon NORML's letter writing campaigns, with over 1000 letters and postcards sent to state and national legislators. Diaz is the editor of Oregon NORML's newsletter and a published writer on cannabis issues. She reports on Oregon's cannabis community for the West Coast Leaf newspaper, West Coast Cannabis magazine, hightimes.com and state and local media. Anna has testified before the Alaska Governors' Council in support of state funded batterers intervention programs and was selected to meet with Alaska's Governor to advocate for a pilot welfare-to-work program prior to her cannabis activism.

Carina is a NYC based advertising professional specializing in Cannabis related business marketing. Her current projects include sales and marketing for Pot Couture and Cannabis Times. She is also producing the Cannabis Times Radio show. She is currently involved in the formation of the NYC NORML chapter and a member of the newly formed NORML Women's Alliance Steering Committee. Her focus is to end Cannabis prohibition by increasing mainstream discussion and re-brandingthe false perception surrounding cannabis reform in society.
